Mudra first birthday blog hop

Hello everyone.!
Am so excited to be a part of Mudra's first birthday Here hop . Hope you have reached my blog from the super awesome crafter Neha Bhatt's blog Here. If you haven't, then please do check out the full details of the blog hop Here .

Mudra stamps are always close to my heart as i've been part of their journey from the very beginning and watched their progress with awe.! I can never say enough about the quality of the stamps. They stamp super crisp every single time and are easy to clean and store! Well of course they come in this amazing packaging andddd they are budget friendly which is a boon to any crafter.

Today I've two cards and a cool DIY project to share with you. I've used the Geometric nature stampset from Mudra's new release.

Card 1:

This is a very subtle card mostly inspired by the beautiful sentiment.
Firstly I heat embossed the geometric butterfly on white cardstock  with gold embossing powder.
Then i colored the image with different shades of pink Zig pens.
I heat embossed the same image on vellum, fussy cut and layered on top of the colored butterfly sticking only at the center to add more dimension.

Finally I added some trail of sequins, rhinestones and gold embossed sentiment to match the whole card.

Card 2:

Here's a very quick and easy card. I used the same technique as the previous card but I've colored directly on the vellum this time. You can see the stark contrast between the two images here.

I added some washi tape to add some interest and stamped the sentiment with memento Danube blue ink.

DIY Project:
Here's a custom phone case which you can change any time you wish.!!!

Get a polymer clear case for your phone. Trace the outline of the cover on watercolor paper (which isn't too thick) and cut out to the size which fits snugly inside.
Add a wash of water and then add distress inks in the desired color combination.
After it is completely dry, spritz some water droplets and let it dry.

Finally heat emboss the sentiment with white EP and add some white gesso splashes to finish off.
Now you can change the look of your phone anytime to your heart's content without burning a hole in your pocket.!!!

I hope you liked my projects.!! Do lemme know your comments :)
