CAS card-Birthday cake

Hi,
Here's a CAS card I have made for my brother's birthday :)





I've used a blue cardbase in standard size. The white panel is cut out of Brustro watercolor paper (300gsm) leaving a 1/4" margin on all sides.
Am using the paper for the first time & I simply love its texture :)
The cake & banner are handdrawn, colored with water color pencils, uniball orange & silver pens.
The gifts are from Hot of the press Small stamp set.
Sentiment is from Avery Elle cake & candles stamp set. The font is jus too adorable.

I've stuck the panel on to the cardbase with foam squares to give some dimension.

CAS card-Happy flight

Hi
It's good to be back home after travelling for so long..
Here's a very quick CAS card I made for my Dad who's going to Dubai.





I added the watercolor background directly on to the card stock here. . Not so satisfied coz the card warped a bit. Probably I should do it on a watercolor paper & then stick to the cardbase next time.

The flight is fussy cut & colores in black with white faux lines. I've added bits of washi tape on the edges to add a little interest.
